Johanna Kolodny has always been drawn to photography, from honing her craft to being the subject of it. Her path crossed her calling when she arrived in Los Angeles From Chicago in 2007. Living in Hollywood, street art like Stikman figures and Random Act flowers were discovered on leisurely weekend strolls. Long aware of artists like Shepard Fairey and Banksy, just then, Kolodny truly dug-in to realize this vast world. Kolodny quickly discovered favorites and while honeymooning in Athens, Greece, came across a huge OS Gemeos mural, took it as a sign and has not looked back since. Now, Kolodny is part of this Street Art world and is known and cherished by photographers and street artists. As @eyeonthestreets on instagram, Kolodny has grown into a vital member of the street art community, making her captures both nationally and internationally.
